No it’s just on the street where you live.
Freddy, why were you so gosh-darned adorable? Too bad you only had a surface level affection for the poor girl.
You were undoubtedly pretty though. Goodness. I know my heart leapt out of my chest when you were pacing up and down that street. Eliza, couldn’t you see his sincerity?
And this: classy. If only men could dress this classy nowadays. Goodness knows who brainwashed the mainstream public to think that dressing like a hobo was … cool. This is where it’s at. That top hat! That… neck…tie? That… vest! That… white collar! Eep! So well put-together! So what if Jeremy Brett wasn’t actually singing his parts?
But… now that I’ve aged somewhat, I’ve finally realized that Rex Harrison, is just… a winner by several miles. Talk about breed. Look at that cardigan! Spotted tie? Graceful hand movement? Skull in… hand? Yes. And of course, he was with Eliza the whole way through.
Although… I heavily disapprove of him “shaping” her into a model citizen. Never did read Pygmalion though, so I don’t have much reference outside of the movie.
Time to revisit My Fair Lady.
